Within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to promote access to green devices, and taking into account the priority needs for capacity building of the Moroccan financial sector, the Directorate of Treasury and External Finance with the support of the German Cooperation (GIZ) and in collaboration with local partners, holds a series of workshops for stakeholders operating in this field.
These workshops, conducted by an expert from 4C Maroc, are part of the continuity of the joint roadmap of financial actors for their commitment to sustainable development, presented at the COP22 in Marrakech.
The first workshop, to be held Wednesday, November 07th 2018 at Hotel Farah-Rabat will focus on the theme "Definition, criteria for labeling and tools for monitoring and controlling green projects and assets".
The main aims of this first workshop are: i) presenting and discussing the benchmarks of the labeling and monitoring systems of green projects, namely those initiated by small and medium-sized enterprises, and ii) reviewing the Moroccan experiences in the view of harmonizing the definitions and procedures at the banking ecosystem level in particular and financial in general
