"The spatial development program of the province of Al Hoceima, launched Saturday in Tetouan by HM King Mohammed VI, will enable achieving spatial balance between rural and urban areas," stated, Saturday, October 17th , 2015, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Mohamed BOUSSAID, in a statement to the press.
For the Minister, this program is an extension of other ambitious programs launched by HM the King in Marrakech, Casablanca, Kenitra, Salé, Rabat and Tangier. He stressed in this regard that the spatial development program of the province of Al-Hoceima follows the achievement of regionalization likely to play a leading role in the development of the various regions of the Kingdom.
"This very ambitious program, which runs until 2019 and mobilizing investments of approximately 6.515 billion dirhams ( MMDH), sets as objectives reducing geographical disparities and improving as well as bringing social services closer to populations, while highlighting the economic activity of the province based on tourism and maritime fishing, "argued Mr. BOUSSAID.
In light of this, he noted that as part of this program, the diversification of economic activity in the province will be conducted, while highlighting its strengths and investment opportunities to make it a key priority in the Mediterranean.
