Study visit of a delegation of senior officials from the Republic of Mali to the (IGF)

As part of the partnership with the control bodies of African countries, the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) received, May 8th to 12th 2017, a delegation of senior officials from the Republic of Mali for a study visit.

The delegation was made up of members of the General Control of Public Services (Mr. Kéïta Mamoudou, Mr. Doumbia Lanciné and Koné Bréhima), the Inspection of the Interior (Mr.TRAORE Amara, Mr. Sissoko Name, and Mr. N'TIRGUI Maiga Sahalou) and the Support Entity for the National Authorizing Officer of the European Development Fund (Mr. CISSE Abrahmane).

The delegation was accompanied by Mr. BENGELLOUNE Alain, project manager.

In welcoming the participants, the Acting Inspector General of Finance recalled the IGF's opening up and partnership strategies, particularly with African countries, and the readiness of the Body to promote Exchanges between both parties.

The study visit focused on issues previously approved by the Project Leader, namely the missions and organization of the IGF, the status of the Finance Inspectors and the way they are recruited, their two years internship as well as vocational training, programming and managing assignments, the various areas of audit performed and finally the monitoring missions and the review of the work of the IGF in general.

The discussions in the different presentations of the finance inspectors made it possible for our guests to be acquainted with the conditions of organization and functioning of the IGF and to identify the areas of particular interest that could be the subject of exchange and partnership between the monitoring institutions of both countries.
