Mr. Mohamed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, participated, Wednesday, May 10th 2017 in the 1st Economic Forum of Fes-Meknes region, held under the theme "territory, businesses and economic intelligence". This event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIS) of Fes-Meknes in association with the elected councils and economic operators of this region.
Mr. BOUSSAID stated that the regions budgets are set as a key priority and that a global budget of 10 billion dirhams will be injected into the 12 regions of the Kingdom by 2020. "These budgets should Boost public investment and local businesses, "he specified.
In addition, Mr. BOUSSAID stressed that within the framework of the advanced regionalization, the Fez-Meknes region will be provided with the means to solve some socio-economic matters, in particular youth unemployment and investments’ issues.
This Forum could play a key role in boosting investment at the regional and national levels, he pointed out, stressing that Fes-Meknes is a region with significant assets and modern infrastructure.
