Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, received Mrs. Berit BASSE, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Morocco, on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the headquarters of the Ministry.
During this meeting, the Minister highlighted the achievements recorded by our country in terms of the macroeconomic framework, the progress made on the economic front, as well as the main reforms and major structural projects undertaken in recent years to promote socioeconomic development, under the enlightened leadership of his majesty the king, may God assist him.
The Ambassador praised the quality of the friendship and cooperation relations between the two Kingdoms and recalled the priority given by the Kingdom of Denmark to strengthening its relations with the African continent in general, and with the Kingdom of Morocco in particular.
The Minister and the Ambassador also exchanged views on the potential for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in sectors of common interest and with strong potential.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mrs. FETTAH and Mrs. BASSE expressed their satisfaction with the richness of their discussions and affirmed their willingness to explore ways and means to further strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
