Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, chaired this Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the headquarters of the TGR, the handover ceremony between Mr. Noureddine BENSOUDA and Mr. Abdellatif AMRANI, Director General of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes, who will serve as Acting Head of the General Treasury of the Kingdom.
On this occasion, Mrs. FETTAH paid tribute to Mr. Noureddine BENSOUDA for the eminent services rendered to the State throughout his distinguished career within the Ministry, notably at the head of the General Directorate of Taxes and the General Treasury of the Kingdom.
The Minister recalled, in this regard, his undeniable contribution to the modernization of the Moroccan tax system and to the success of the major reforms carried out in the area of public finances through, in particular, supporting the implementation of the Organic Law relating to the Finance Law, the establishment of the State accounting plan, the reform of public procurement, as well as the project of simplifying and digitizing procedures.
The Minister also commended all TGR executives who supported these projects with dedication and a sense of responsibility.
The Minister subsequently conveyed her wishes for success to Mr. Abdellatif AMRANI, highlighting his experience and knowledge of the workings of the financial administration, qualities that will enable him to ensure this transition under the best conditions.
This handover ceremony took place in the presence of the Directors General and Directors of the Ministry and the officials of the TGR.
