Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, presided on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Ministry’s headquarters, over the inauguration ceremony of Mr. Tarik SENHAJI, appointed by his majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, as President of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC).
Attending this ceremony were Mrs. Nezha HAYAT, the outgoing President, the President of the Insurance and Social Welfare Supervisory Authority, the Director General of Bank Al-Maghrib, the Inspector General of Finance, the Director of Treasury and External Finance, as well as senior officials from the AMMC and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
On this occasion, the Minister extended her heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Tarik SENHAJI for the high royal confidence in him, emphasizing that this appointment crowns a distinguished career in the financial sector, notably as Director General of the Casablanca Stock Exchange. In this regard, she expressed her confidence in the new President’s ability to sustain the ongoing momentum, strengthen the AMMC’s role in protecting savings invested in financial instruments, and support the kingdom’s structural economic transformation projects.
The Minister also praised the work accomplished by Mrs. Nezha HAYAT, the outgoing President, whose dedication enabled the AMMC to establish itself as a solid and recognized institution within the national and international financial ecosystem.
It should be recalled that the AMMC is the regulator of the national capital market. Its mission is to protect savings invested in financial instruments, ensure the integrity, transparency, and proper functioning of the markets, and guarantee equal treatment of investors.
