Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, received Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Ministry’s headquarters a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly, which was on an official visit to Morocco.
The delegation was composed of Mr. Michel Herbillon – Vice President of the said Committee, Member of Parliament for Val-de-Marne; Mr. Alain David – Vice President, Member of Parliament for Gironde; Mr. Sébastien Chenu – Committee Member, Member of Parliament for Nord; Mr. Aurélien Taché – Member of Parliament for Val-d’Oise; Mr. Vincent Ledoux – Member of Parliament for Nord; and Mrs. Caroline Depasse – Advisor, Project Manager to the Director of European, International and Defense Affairs.

During this meeting, Mrs. FETTAH and the members of the Committee reiterated the excellence of the relations and the bonds of friendship between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic. They also emphasized the new momentum in Morocco-France bilateral relations since the French President’s State Visit to Morocco in October 2024, marked by the Enhanced Exceptional Partnership between the two countries.

Mrs. FETTAH also presented the economic situation of Morocco and the priorities of the Moroccan Government to address the country’s socio-economic challenges, as well as the major structural projects launched by the Kingdom in various strategic sectors.

As a reminder, the areas of competence of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly include France’s foreign and European policy, treaties and international agreements, international organizations, cooperation and development, the Francophonie, and international cultural relations.
