First National Conference on “The Management and Prevention of State Litigation: A Lever for Upholding Legality, Investment Stability, and Rationalization of Public Spending”

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (through the Kingdom’s Judicial Agency) is organizing, on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15–16, 2025, in Rabat, the first National Conference on the Management of State Litigation, under the theme:

​“The Management and Prevention of State Litigation: A Lever for Upholding Legality, Investment Stability, and Rationalization of Public Spending.”

The objective of this conference is to establish a unified vision for managing State litigation that allows for risk prevention and ensures effective management based on vigilance, anticipation, and capacity building.

This conference will bring together many decision-makers, as well as national and international experts. It will feature four plenary sessions and four workshops focusing on the following themes:

  •  The foundations for adopting a national strategy for managing and preventing State litigation;
  •  The role of proactive management of legal and financial risks in enhancing legal governance within public services;
  • Issues related to the management of investment-related litigation and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms;
  • Land disputes involving public legal entities and their impact on property rights and investment projects;
  •  Challenges related to the enforcement of court rulings and the recovery of public funds;
  • The role of governance and digitalization in the optimal and preventive management of State litigation.
