Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, received, Tuesday June 25, 2024, a Bolivian delegation led by Mrs. Samantha Nogales, President of the International Economic Relations Committee of the Bolivian Parliament, as part of a working visit to Morocco.
During the meeting, discussions focused on economic cooperation relations between Morocco and Bolivia, and on ways of developing them further.
In this respect, the Minister highlighted the main structural reforms undertaken by the Kingdom, under the enlightened leadership of his majesty the king, May God Assist him. The aim is to strengthen the fundamentals of the Moroccan economy and its resilience, notably through the diversification of the economic fabric and the gradual establishment of the foundations of the welfare State, with the generalization of social protection to all segments of the population.
Madame FETTAH also emphasized Morocco's willingness to share its experience of economic reforms aimed at diversifying growth drivers and set the necessary conditions for strong, sustainable and inclusive growth.
For their part, the members of the Bolivian delegation hailed the Kingdom's dynamic reform and progress, stressing that Morocco's experience offers useful lessons for countries wishing to embark on an ambitious process of economic openness and diversification.
