Joint workshop between the Government and the two Houses of Parliament on the reform of Organic Law N°130.13 on the Finance Law (FL)

Mr. Fouzi LEKJAA, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, gave, Thursday October 26, 2023, a presentation on the reform of the Organic Law N°130.13 on the Finance Law (LF), during a joint workshop between the government and the two Houses of Parliament.
Mr. LEKJAA pointed out that the proposed amendments are designed to strengthen the Parliament's role in overseeing public finances and preserving financial equilibrium.
This will also enable the Parliament to support the current momentum of reform projects by extending the scope of the organic law's provisions to public establishments, and reinforcing financial principles and rules, he added.
He emphasized that the drafting of this amendment was driven by a participatory approach based on internal coordination within the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as openness to international partners and experience.
