Information and exchange day on public procurement reform

The Ministry of Economy and Finance, in partnership with the National Business Environment Committee (CNEA) and the PROMET project "Promoting entrepreneurship" of the German Development Agency (GIZ), organized an information and exchange day on public procurement reform on October 24, 2023 at the headquarters of the Kingdom's General Treasury in Rabat.
The aim of the day's events is to share the main thrusts of the reform, and the various workstreams that will accompany its implementation, with the various partners involved in public procurement.
The day began with opening speeches and the presentation of an introductory report on public procurement reform.
This was followed by speeches and discussions organized in the form of four panels focusing on the following themes:
- The economic dimension of public procurement reform;
- Public procurement reform: a lever for social integration, sustainable development and territorial inclusion;
- Public procurement reform for transparency, integrity and accountability;
- Digitization and training: strategic elements to accompany the reform.
