The Minister also congratulated the CMR (Moroccan Pension Fund) on obtaining several Certificates of Excellence and Merit from the International Social Security Association (ISSA), testifying to the performance dynamic to which the Fund has been committed for several years. This drive is aimed at consolidating the principles of good governance and improve the quality of services provided to users and partners.

At this session, the Board of Directors welcomed the Fund's achievements in the first year of the 2022-2024 Program Contract signed with the State, with a rate of 86%. It also noted that the resources of the schemes managed by the CMR amounted to 41.27 billion dirhams at the end of 2022, compared with 47.80 billion dirhams in expenditure.

Subsequently, the Board noted that despite the negative repercussions of the exceptional economic situation of 2022 on the national economy, the sound management of the financial portfolio and the quality of the investments made by the CMR have enabled to finance the technical deficit of the civil pension scheme. It also made it possible to ensure the payment of benefits, while achieving a financial profitability in excess of 5%.

Furthermore, the Board of Directors welcomed the inauguration of the CMR delegation in the Dakhla Oued Eddahab region, which reinforces the proximity policy pursued by the CMR to meet the needs of its users and partners. With this inauguration, the Fund's network of delegations now covers all 12 regions of the Kingdom.

After reviewing the items on the agenda, the Board of Directors closed the accounts for the 2022 financial year and adopted all the decisions and resolutions presented to it. The session ended with the reading of a message of loyalty and fidelity to his majesty king Mohamed VI, may God assist him.
