Signing ceremony of the loan and grant contracts for the financing of the National Shared Liquid Sanitation Program

Mr. Fouzi LEKJAA, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget, and Mr. Jörg Dux, in charge of the Water and Sanitation sector at the German Development Bank (KfW), signed, December 22nd 2022, at 10:00 a.m., loan and grant contracts. These agreements are concluded to finance the National Shared Liquid Sanitation Program, Component of the Chief Town Centers (PNAM), for a global amount of 32 million euros, that is to say approximately 360 million dirhams.
The above-mentioned program aims at implementing sanitation projects in 35 Chief Centers at the level of rural communes of the following 5 provinces: AL Haouz, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Taroudant and Chefchaouen.
At the end of this ceremony, Mr. Fouzi LEKJAA, and Mr. Jörg Dux welcomed the level of partnership ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Federal Republic of Germany, while affirming the willingness to engage in a joint reflection to increase and strengthen access to financial means of the KfW.
