Minister of Economy and Finance takes stock in Washington of the "exceptional partnership" between Morocco and the World Bank

Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, met, Tuesday, December 20 th 2022 in Washington with the President of the World Bank Group, David MALPASS, and several directors of this institution.
During these talks, the "exceptional partnership" between the World Bank and Morocco, which includes all major projects and reforms in the Kingdom, was discussed.
These meetings were also an opportunity to review the preparations for the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheduled in Marrakech in October 2023.
It should be recalled that the Annual Meetings of the WB Group and the IMF are held mainly in Washington and, every three years, in a member country other than the United States, in order to emphasize the international character of both institutions.
