Participation of the Minister in the second edition of the Morocco-Mauritania Economic Forum

Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, took part, Tuesday, September 20th 2022 in the second edition of the Morocco-Mauritania Economic Forum, organized by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (GCME) and the National Union of Mauritanian Employers (NUME).

At the opening of this event, the Minister stressed that the objective today is to raise Moroccan-Mauritanian relations to an even higher level on all sides, especially on the economic one.

Mrs. Nadia FETTAH recalled that Morocco attaches great importance to the creation of a business climate conducive to all investors, reiterating the commitment of the Kingdom to the development of economic relations with Mauritania in a sustainable perspective and at the height of ambitions and fraternal ties that unite the two sides.

The Morocco-Mauritania Economic Forum aims to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between both countries, and give a new impetus to relations between the two business communities.

This event was attended by a delegation of one hundred Mauritanian economic operators representing various sectors, led by the President of the NUME, Mr. Mohamed Zeine El Abidine Sheikh Ahmed, and companies’ members of the GCME interested in investing in the Mauritanian market.
