In the course of this meeting, Mrs. Fettah and Mr. Martin reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between Morocco and the United Kingdom, while noting with satisfaction the dynamics observed at several levels.

Both parties have also exchanged on the challenges faced by the economies of both countries in relation, in particular, with climate change, which calls for better coordination of actions of the two countries in the field of climate finance, among others.

In this respect, the Minister recalled the work undertaken by Morocco in favor of the transition to a green, sustainable and low-carbon economy and emphasized the key role of the financial sector in the success of this transition.

For his part, Mr. Martin welcomed Morocco's commitments to the climate with the upward revision of the objectives of the Moroccan NDC and expressed the availability of his country to accompany the efforts of Morocco in this field.

Following this meeting, Mrs. Nadia Fettah and Mr. Simon Martin stressed the importance of continuing the exchanges between the representatives of the two parties and reaffirmed their willingness to further nurture the positive dynamics of economic and financial cooperation between the United Kingdom and Morocco.
