Mr. Fouzi LEKJAA participates in a panel discussion on the application of the domestic consumption tax to manufactured materials containing sugar

Mr. Fouzi LEKJAA, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, presented Wednesday, March 02nd 2022, at a panel discussion, jointly organized by the Finance and Economic Development Committee of the House of Representatives and the Finance, Planning and Economic Development Committee of the House of Councillors, on the application of the domestic consumption tax to manufactured materials containing sugar.

This meeting is part of the government's commitment to both parliamentary committees during the study of the finance bill 2022, and the proposal to issue a set of amendments to expand the basis of application of a domestic consumption tax on manufactured products containing sugar, with the aim of preserving the health of citizens and recovering the subsidies for sugar.
