The Government Council passes a decree on the transformation of the Central Guarantee Fund into a limited liability company.

The Government Council held a meeting on Thursday May 6th, 2021 and passed a bill n°2.21.289 implementing sections 2 and 8 of the law n°36.20 on the transformation of the Central Guarantee Fund (CCG) into a limited liability company (LLC).

Presented by the Minister of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform, Mr Mohamed BENCHAABOUN, the present draft decree falls within the implementation of the provisions of the law n° 36.20 on the transformation of the Central Guarantee Fund into a limited liability company. Its objective is to amplify the Fund’s intervention in terms of business finance, all categories included, in compliance with international best practices.

Hence, the draft decree includes the provisions related to fixing the National Guarantee and Financing Enterprise Company capital and the elaboration of the company statute in an annex to the mentioned draft decree.
