The Council of Government adopts the decree regarding the responsibilities and the organization of the Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Council of Government adopted, Thursday, September 19th in Rabat the draft decree N° 2.18.905, amending and supplementing the decree N°2-07-995 of 23rd choual 1429 (October 23rd 2008) regarding the responsibilities and the organization of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The main purpose of this proposed decree, presented by Mr. Mohamed BENCHAABOUN, Minister of Economy and Finance, is to amend and supplement the article 13 of the decree N°2-07-995 in odrer to enhance the goals of the acquisitions of the Directorate of the State Domains. This expansion involves, besides real estate acquisitions and property rights allocated to government sectors for public services, real estate and real rights acquired under the commitments from the partnership agreements signed within the framework of economic and social development programs.
The decree also concerns the acquisition of buildings with high architectural, cultural or historical value as well as the mobilization of land needed to promote investments.
