Within the framework of exchange and experience sharing on Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB), a delegation from the Republic of North Macedonia headed by Mrs. Mila Carovska, Minister of Labour and Social Policy, visited Morocco from May 21st to 23rd 2019.
The members of this delegation were received, May 21st 2019 in Rabat, by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Mr. CHORFI ZOUHAIR, who stressed the importance of the promotion of gender equality and its positionning among Morocco’s reform programs.
This visit meets the needs of this delegation to exchange views on missions and rules relating to the organisation and functioning of the Center of Excellence of Gender Responsive Budgeting (CE- GRB), as well as on various projects of institutionalizing gender equality principles.
During this visit, Mr. Ahmed Berrada, national director of (CE- GRB), presented the institutional framework of the (CE- GRB), its main achievements as well as the impact and challenges of the implementation of the GRB in Morocco.
On the other hand, members of the delegation of the Republic of North Macedonia presented the experience of their country in terms of the adopted device and mecanism for the establishment and monitoring of the GRB.
