As part of its strategic project for the dematerialization of customs procedures to establish a paperless customs clearance, economic operators are informed that the customs and tax administration (ADII) decided to remove, for all schemes, the physical deposit of the declaration and the enclosed documents as from January 1st 2019.
This step is the outcome of a project that the administration started several years before and of which a set of legal, procedural and technical prerequisites have been implemented. It aims at improving customs clearance in terms of reduction of costs and time limits for international trade transactions as well as increasing transparency in the customs transactions processing.
All public and private partners (ANP, TMPA, Portnet, port and airport managers, freight forwarders, transporters, inspection bodies, ...) have actively contributed to the achievement of this purpose.
The circular n ° 5885/312 of 26/12/2018, available on the website of the administration, describes all the management rules of the dematerialized circuit.
