During his participation in the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, held from October 12th to 14th 2018 in Bali, Indonisia, Mr. Mohamed BENCHAABOUN, Minister of Economy and Finance, took part in the regional meetings of the president KIM of the World Bank and those of Mrs. LAGARDE, Directorate General of the IMF with Arab and African Governors.
In his address during the Meeting, The Minister of Economy and Finance stressed the socio-economic challenges facing the countries of the region to achieve higher and more inclusive growth. In this context, he outlined the Moroccan strategy which mainly involves the strengthening of budget margins, raising growth potentail level and the implementation of specific reforms aimed at enhancing social inclusion.
