On Thursday, March 8, 2018, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, met his Malian counterpart, Mr. Boubou Cissé, as part of the business visit of a delegation presided by the Malian Prime Minister to Morocco.
In a press statement, the two senior officials underlined that the discussions offered an opportunity to highlight the excellent partnership between Morocco and Mali in various fields, which have been boosted by the official visits of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI to this West African country.
Mr. Boubou Cissé praised the Moroccan experience in the field of tax management, highlighting the fact that his country wishes to benefit from it. In this regard, a team from the Malian Tax Administration will come to Morocco soon in order to benefit from training about the digital solutions adopted by the Kingdom in terms of tax management for the purpose of adapting and implementing it in Mali.
Mr. BOUSSAID, in his part, expressed his happiness about the quality of the “historical” relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Mali. He added that Morocco is always ready to share its experience in all sectors, stating his conviction that this visit will beef up cooperation between the two countries in many sectors.
