Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, participated Monday, December 11th, 2017 in Casablanca, in the signing ceremony of five documents relating to the launch of 26 industrial investments in the automotive sector. This event was chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him.
In this context, the Minister signed with Moulay Hafid ELALAMY, Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy, and other Moroccan and foreign personalities, the document on six investments as part of the Renault Group's ecosystem, two documents relating to 13 investments within the framework of the Peugeot ecosystem, the document on two investments in the Valéo ecosystem and the document relating to five investments within the framework of the " wiring and Connector" ecosystem.
With a global amount of 13.78 billion dirhams, these new iiinvestments confirm the strong positioning of the Kingdom's industrial sector in high value-added activities, as well as the confidence of well-known international operators in the national industrial program. They also demonstrate the change in industrial dimension at work in the Kingdom, which is clearly moving towards a solid economic model that supports its progress towards the emerging nations group.
