Two agreements signed by the Minister of Economy and Finance during the signing ceremony chaired by His Majesty the King and the President of the Republic of South Sudan

Within the framework of the royal visit to South Sudan, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, and the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit, chaired, Wednesday, February 1st 2017, at the Presidential Palace in Juba, the signing ceremony of nine bilateral agreements in various areas of cooperation between both countries.

Two of these agreements were signed by Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance with his counterpart from South Sudan, Mr. Stephen Dhieu Dau, Minister of Finance and Planning. This includes the agreement on investment promotion and protection, and the Convention that addresses double taxation and prevents fraud regarding income tax.

​ The agreements signed are part of the strengthening of partnerships and cooperation with countries of the continent and reflect the commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the consolidation of South-South cooperation.
