The Government Council reviewed and approved, Thursday, April 28th, 2016, the draft decree No. 2-16-296, amending and supplementing the Royal Decree No. 330-66 of 10 Muharram 1387 (April 21st, 1967) concerning the general regulations of public accounting.
In his presentation, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, stated that the objective of this Decree is, on the one hand, to extend the payment of public debts by credit card to other e-payment means provided by laws and regulations, and on the other hand, to enable the payment of public debts to banks and other authorized third parties for the management of payment methods.
The Minister stressed that the new decree is likely to accompany the rapid evolution of e- payments and the need to support technological development in this area.
