Strengthening cooperation between Morocco and France

Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, received Tuesday, March 10th , 2015 at the headquarters of his Department, Mr. Laurent FABIUS, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the French Republic accompanied by a large delegation made up of representatives of the National Assembly and business leaders.

On this occasion, the Minister of Economy and finance underlined the exceptional and solid nature of the relations between the two countries which make France the first partner of Morocco on the level of commercial exchanges, tourist arrivals and direct investments and expressed the will of Morocco to develop these relations within the framework of a win-win partnership.

For his part, Mr. Laurent FABIUS pointed out that his visit to Morocco declares a series of bilateral visits which density illustrates the quality of the links between France and Morocco and the willingness of France to consolidate and deepen them in the mutual interest of both nations.

The two ministers reviewed the current situation of bilateral relations and welcomed their density and the upward momentum that made France the first partner of Morocco in economic and trade matters and one of its major donors.

Both sides discussed prospects for cooperation in areas of common interest and discussed the opportunities of a mutually beneficial strategic partnership.
