Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID, Minister of Economy and Finance, received at the headquarters of his department Tuesday, February 24th , 2015, Mr. Donald KABERUKA, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, in Morocco since February 23rd , 2015.
On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID thanked Mr. KABERUKA for the success achieved in the course of his duties as President of the (AfDB) Group during the two successive constituents (2005-2015) and for his management skills as a head manager in steering the main Bank's mission in terms of development and poverty reduction in Africa.
During the meeting, the Minister of Economy and Finance and the President of the (AfDB) also welcomed the model form of partnership between our country and the (AfDB). In this context, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID noted that this partnership is distinguished not only by the volume of financial cooperation, but also by the diversity of the priority areas that benefited from this institution’s funding , particularly health, education, agriculture, transport infrastructure, energy, water and sanitation, administration and finance.
On the other hand, Mr. Mohammed BOUSSAID expressed his sincere thanks to Mr. KABERUKA for his important contribution in the fact that Morocco was selected to host the headquarters of Africa50 and its address in "Casa Finance City", regional and international financial center which should play a key role in the financial integration and economic and social development of Africa.
This meeting was also an opportunity for the Minister of Economy and Finance to reaffirm the commitment of Morocco to take all the necessary measures to ensure the operationalization of the Fund and ensure its success and radiation.
