Mr. Nizar Baraka, Minister of Economy and Finance, made a speech at the opening session of the High-Level Regional Conference on Macroeconomic and Financial Statistics in the Arab countries. This congress was held in Rabat Monday, May 14th 2012, at the initiative of the International Monetary Fund. During
his speech, the Minister pointed out that the objective of this conference is to draw up a roadmap to set up a regional official statistics body in charge of macroeconomic and financial statistics in Arab countries "ARABSTATS".
