A Moroccan delegation headed by Mrs. Latifa Akharbach, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will attend the 4th high-level Forum on aid effectiveness (HLF4) which will be held in Busan, in South Korea, from November 29th to December 1st 2011.This delegation consists of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
This fourth edition, which follows on from the Forum of Rome (2003), Paris (2005) and Accra (2008), will bring together some 2000 international delegates representing the developed and developing countries, the international institutions of development as well as the organizations of civil society.
The objective of this Forum held in Busan is to assess the progress achieved in implementing the principles of the Declaration of Paris and the Accra Agenda .But also to make new commitments on aid effectiveness to help reduce poverty and boost the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
At the end of this Forum, the partners for development must approve the new agenda for development assistance and endorse a consensus on common principles for a more effective partnership for development. .
