The Minister participates at a discussion meeting on the theme

Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Economy and Finance, attended a discussion meeting, held March 23rd 2010 in Paris by the France Entreprises Movement (MEDEF) and the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), under the theme "Reform and Growth, what exactly is the situation in Morocco?"  

Before an audience of hundreds of French managers, a large Moroccan ministerial delegation composed of several ministers highlighted the scope of reforms mentioned in the Royal Speech and increased the commitments of the French authorities and private investors to contribute to the success of reforms by supporting economic growth.

Indeed, members of the delegation have outlined strategies for the development of national sectors namely energy, agriculture, industry and tourism.

During a press briefing held in Paris, the Minister called for maintaining the climate and the "positive" political relations that the two countries have built within the framework of partnership and mutual accountability.

For her part, Mrs. Laurence Parisot, President of (MEDEF), stated that the Royal speech of March 9th 2011 introducing institutional reforms is very promising, described as a historic event by commentators and is decisive for their investors.

The delegation`s members are: Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fishing, Mr. Ahmed Reda Chami, Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, Mr. Yassir Znagui, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Mr. Nizar Baraka, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Economic and General Affairs and Mrs. Amina Benkhadra, Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment.
