The Minister of Economy and Finance and the Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), signed on November 23rd 2010 agreements to finance the last phase of rural electrification with an amount of 51.7 Million Dollars (410 million DH).
The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Amina BENKHADRA the Minister of Mines, Water and Environment and Mr. Ali FASSI FEHRI Director General of NOE.
On this occasion, the Minister of Economy and Finance thanked the President of the Bank for his efforts to support and assist the economic and social development of Morocco.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ali, Chairman of the IDB Group, welcomed the good relations linking the Bank and Morocco. He stressed the importance assigned by this institution to finance the development projects of the kingdom.
