Mr. Mezouar participates in the 25th Africa-France Summit

Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Economy and Finance and Mr. Ahmed Reda Chami, Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, attend integrated economic meetings in Africa- France summit held in Nice from May 31st to June 01st 2010. French and African Ministers, having the required competence in economic affairs, as well as business and unions representatives discussed, Monday afternoon, five economic topics:
  • Business environment;
  • Financing of enterprises set in Africa;
  • Vocational training;
  • Enterprises` social and environmental responsibility;
  • Future sources of energy.

In addition, there will be a workshop related to the role of migrants in the development of private investment in Africa, which will be held in the morning of June 1st.

Were present at these meetings , the CEOs of large Moroccan companies such as: Mr. Mohammed Horani, president of the CGEM, and Mr. Abdeslam Ahizoune, CEO of Maroc Telecom and Mohamed El Kettani, CEO of Attijariwafa Bank.

The entities represented to this Summit include 52 African States, representatives of the EU, the Francophone International Organisation, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations , the African Union Committee and the World Bank.

It should be noted that His Royal Highness the Prince Moulay Rachid represents His Majesty the King Mohammed VI in this Summit.
