Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Economy and Finance, participates in the 2010 annual meetings of the African Development Bank Group (ADB), held from May 27th to 28th, 2010 in Ivory Cost.  

This year, the meetings agenda include the election of the Bank Group President, the approval of the sixth general capital increase and the twelfth replenishment of the African Development Fund (ADF) and the creation of two new districts which brings the number of seats to 20 instead of 18.

The latter were officially opened by the Ivorian President, Laurent Gbagbo, who welcomed the increased intervention, in recent years, of the institution in its regional member countries.

The annual meetings of the ADB, usually held in May, are the largest meeting of financial and development experts on the continent. Participants at the meetings, more than 1,500, include finance ministers, senior officials, business leaders, academics, media experts, representatives of international organizations and civil society.
