On Monday, December 7th 2009, Mr. Salaheddine MEZOUAR, Minister of Economy and Finance received, at the headquarters of the Ministry, Mr. Bogdan DANYLSHYN,Ukrainian Minister of Economy. During this event, the Minister welcomed the good relations between Morocco and Ukraine.
On that occasion, Mr. MEZOUAR expressed his willingness to work for the launching of a multidimensional and mutually beneficial cooperation, through the revitalization and diversification of trade and the development of partnership activity in the sectors of common interest. At this meeting, Mr. MEZOUAR and Mr. DANYLSHYN recalled that the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments has been operational since April 2009.
Mr. MEZOUAR stressed the importance of identifying ways to boost and diversify trade between the two countries through, the promotion and reciprocal exploration of markets, the proliferation of meetings and events between the operators and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of both countries. Finally, Messrs. MEZOUAR and DANYLSHYN emphasised their determination to consolidate and strengthen bilateral relations.
