The MEF and the World Bank jointly organized GSB workshops on October 21st and 22nd.
In his opening speech, Mr. Chafiki, Director of Financial studies and Forecasts, gave a cursory view of Morocco`s experience and progress made in this field. He explained that the whole experience took off from a Business plan conducted with the assistance of the World Bank. After six years, this institution has endorsed the GSB process, following considerable accomplishments on the international scene.
Mrs. Fad Fatou, speaking on behalf of Mrs. Clottes, Head of the World Bank office in Morocco, indicated that the World Bank recognizes the progress Morocco made in this field. The study and exchange of experiences from countries such as Chili, Liberia, and Egypt, during these workshops will further guarantee a positive progress of the GSB approach.
These Workshops will be moderated by Mrs. Maria Elena Ruiz Abril and Mr. Ali Kissi.
