Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Rabat His Excellency Mr. Ahmed NIHAD Abdel Latif, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Morocco.
During this meeting, the Minister praised the quality and strength of the cooperative relations existing between Morocco and Egypt, reviewing a set of fields and sectors offering promising opportunities for cooperation, partnership, and exchange of expertise between the two brotherly countries, such as higher education, health, water, and modern technologies.
In this context, Mrs. FETTAH emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and rapprochement between the various private sector actors in both countries, in order to enable the development of joint projects and accelerate the pace of reciprocal investments, affirming, in this regard, that the upcoming meeting of the first session of the Moroccan–Egyptian Coordination and Follow-up Committee. will be an opportunity to give new momentum to bilateral cooperation, in line with the aspirations of the leaders of both countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi.
For his part, His Excellency the Egyptian Ambassador expressed his pride in the successes achieved by several Egyptian investment projects in Morocco, while expressing his desire to elevate bilateral economic cooperation to broader levels, considering the significant potential offered by the economies of both countries and the deep fraternal and historical ties that unite them.
