Signing of a memorandum of understanding in financial cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, and Mr. Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, signed, Sunday, February 16, 2025, a memorandum of understanding in financial cooperation. This event comes on the sidelines of the first session of the Al-Ula Conference on Emerging Market Economies, hosted by the city of Al-Ula, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The MoU aims to enhance and develop mutual cooperation between the two parties, especially in the field of macro-financial policies, analysis of public finance data, development of financial systems and legislation and governance in the public sector, as well as enhancing joint coordination on regional and international issues before international organizations and institutions.
The MoU is part of the implementation of the recommendations of the 13th session of the Moroccan-Saudi Joint Committee held on June 15-16, 2022 in Rabat.
