Highlights

During the meeting, Mrs. FETTAH and Mr. BELHAJ gave a positive assessment of the fruitful cooperation relations between Morocco and the World Bank Group, characterized in particular by the quality of the reform and investment programs benefiting from the Bank's technical and financial support, and constant support for the economic and social development efforts undertaken by the Kingdom under the enlightened leadership of his majesty the king, May God assist him.

The meeting was also an opportunity for the Minister of Economy and Finance to thank Mr. BELHAJ, at the end of his term as Vice-President for the MENA region at the World Bank, for his personal commitment and ongoing efforts to strengthen financial and institutional cooperation relations between Morocco and the World Bank. For his part, Mr. BELHAJ praised the quality and relevance of cooperation projects between the World Bank Group and Morocco, while hailing the spirit of constructive collaboration that has always animated the World Bank Group's relations with its Moroccan partners.
