Mrs Nadia FETTAH receives Mr Alastair McPhail, Special Envoy of the British Government for the "UK- African Investment Summit 2024"

On Wednesday January 10, 2024, Mrs Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, received at the headquarters of her Department Mr Alastair McPhail, Special Envoy of the British Government for the "UK- African Investment Summit 2024", who was accompanied by a large delegation which includes Mr. Simon Martin - UK Ambassador to Morocco.
During this meeting, Mrs. FETTAH and Mr. MCPHAIL welcomed the excellent friendly relations between the two Kingdoms and the dynamic economic and trade relations between the two countries since the entry into force of the bilateral Association Agreement.
Mr. MCPHAIL went on to outline the objectives of the UK-Africa Investment Summit 2024, to be held in London in April 2024, aimed at strengthening partnerships between the UK and Africa.
For her part, the Minister recalled the priority given by Morocco to the development of its cooperative relations with African countries. She also praised the UK for organizing this event, which will provide an opportunity to discuss ways of promoting cooperation between countries on the continent and the UK, and to forge new partnerships between economic operators on both sides.
