The Minister of Economy and Finance, Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, took part, Tuesday, May 23rd 2023 in the opening ceremony of the annual meetings of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt.
The event was chaired by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of African Heads of State, the President of the African Development Bank Group and representatives of regional and international financial institutions.
On the sidelines of these annual meetings, Mrs. FETTAH held a meeting with Dr. Akinwumi ADESINA, President of the AfDB Group, during which the two officials reviewed the main areas of cooperation between Morocco and the AfDB Group.
On this occasion, Mrs. FETTAH and Dr. ADESINA expressed a common will to further strengthen the exemplary partnership between Morocco and the AfDB Group to support the Kingdom's development efforts, particularly in the infrastructure, renewable energy and investment promotion sectors.
