Within the framework of the second edition of the Sharjah Public Finance Award, the Ministry of Economy and Finance has been chosen to win this award in the institutional category, "The Distinguished Entity in Public Finance". This event, managed by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development, is part of the League of Arab States, with the patronage and support of the Government of Sharjah.
The second edition of the Sharjah Public Finance Award was attended by 14 Arab countries: Morocco, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Algeria, Syria and Iraq.
This triumph is considered as the culmination of the effective role of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the field of strengthening leadership in the execution of the ministry's budget and the use of state-of-the-art technology. The aim is to achieve outstanding financial results in terms of the ministry's strategic financial indicators, in addition to working on user satisfaction, as well as contributing to the development of legislative and regulatory texts in the financial field.
The Sharjah Public Finance Award will be presented at a ceremony to be held on May 8 in the Emirate of Sharjah.
