Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, received, Friday, December 9th 2022 Mrs. Mamta Murthi and Mr. Riccardo Puliti, respectively Vice President for Human Development and Vice President for Infrastructure at the World Bank Group, as part of the working visit to Morocco that the two Bank officials are making from December 5th to 9th 2022.
During this meeting, Mrs. FETTAH reviewed the main reform projects undertaken by Morocco, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty the King, may God assist him, in the fields of human development and infrastructure,
In this respect, the Minister of Economy and Finance emphasized the resolutely social nature of the 2023 Finance Bill, which is in line with the Government's efforts to implement major social reforms such as the generalization of social coverage and the reform of the education system.
Exchanges with the two senior officials of the World Bank also focused on the great ambitions displayed by Morocco in the sectors of renewable energy and infrastructure and the means to achieve them.
In this context, the representatives of the World Bank have expressed the willingness of this institution to accompany the relevant strategies launched by our country, while emphasizing the model that Morocco can provide for other African countries in these areas.
