On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Compensation Fund met at 09:00 a.m. under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economy and Finance, with the delegation of the Head of Government.
This Board meets in an unusual circumstance marked by strong fluctuations in commodity prices at the international markets. The Compensation Fund continued during the year 2022 to play the role entrusted to it to ensure the stability of prices of subsidized materials and support the purchasing power of citizens.
Upon opening its proceedings, the Board of Directors approved the minutes of its meeting held on February 04, 2022. Thereafter, the Board members were informed about the activities of the Compensation Fund for the year 2021 and the revenues of the assisted sectors for the period from January 1st to October 31st 2022.
Then, the members of the Board of Directors reviewed the report of the external auditor and the State Controller in the institution for the year 2021 and the rest of the items on the agenda of this session.
Lastly, the members of the Board of Directors endorsed the results of the fiscal year of the Compensation Fund for the year 2021 and a set of decisions.
In conclusion, the Board of Directors of the Compensation Fund sent a message of loyalty, fidelity to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.
