Interview of the Minister of Economy and Finance with the IMF Deputy Managing Director

On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Mrs. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance, received a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Mrs. Antoinette Monsio Sayeh, IMF Deputy Managing Director.
The visit of Mrs. Sayeh is part of a series of communication actions that the IMF is organizing in Morocco, the future host country of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF that will take place in Marrakech in October 2023.
It comes particularly in the context of the launch by the IMF of a working paper on informality in the countries of the North African region, which will be discussed at a roundtable organized jointly by the IMF, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Mohamed V University of Rabat.
This meeting was an opportunity for the Minister to exchange with the head of the IMF, including the national and international economic situation and bilateral cooperation relations of our country with this institution.
