Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, holds a series of meetings on the sidelines of the EBRD General Assembly

Mrs. Nadia FETTAH, Minister of Economy and Finance, held Tuesday, May 10th 2022, a series of meetings with several officials in Marrakech, on the sidelines of her participation in the 31st General Assembly (GA) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Therefore, Mrs. Nadia FETTAH held a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Governor of the EBRD for Moldova, Sergiu GAIBU, after which both parties expressed their willingness to strengthen their mutual economic relations.

In addition, the meeting between Mrs. Nadia FETTAH and the Minister of Treasury and Finance, Governor of the EBRD for Turkey, Nureddin NEBATI, focused, among other things, on ways to promote investment and trade between the two countries.

Subsequently, Mrs. FETTAH held discussions with the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Markets of the United States of America, Alexia LATORTUE. Mrs. FETTAH and Mrs. LATORTUE welcomed the historic ties of cooperation between Morocco and the United States of America.

The Minister of Economy and Finance also met with Alice USANASE, Vice President and Head of Country Relations at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). The two officials expressed their commitment to develop the various aspects of cooperation of the Kingdom with this African financial institution

The meeting between Mrs. FETTAH and Mr. Mihály VARGA, Minister of Finance of Hungary, was an opportunity to boost bilateral economic cooperation relations.

The Minister also held a meeting with Mrs. Marie-Gabrielle INECHEN-FLEISCH, Swiss Secretary of State for the Economy, reflecting a common desire to consolidate and develop their bilateral economic relations.
