E-mtiaz 2021 Prize: The Ministry of Economy and Finance receives a double award for its Internet Portal and for the online service "Diw@nati"

The Ministry of Economy and Finance, was doubly rewarded, Monday, March 21st 2022 in Rabat, by winning the e-mtiaz prize in the category "e-Contenu", with its Internet Portal and the encouragement prize in the category "e-démarche" with the online service "Diw@nati".

These awards are a recognition of the efforts made by the Ministry in its approach of continuous innovation in digital communication and dematerialization of services offered to its users.

As a pioneer in this field, the Ministry has had its Institutional Portal www.finances.gov.ma  for more than two decades, which has been improved over the years and constantly adapted to the expectations of its users and to technological requirements. Today, the Portal of the Ministry is in its fifth version following its redesign in 2020.

With a streamlined graphic charter, this version adopts a "responsive design", which offers its users a very user-friendly and more intuitive browsing experience with a comfortable reading experience, especially on the mobile support.

The Ministry's Portal is characterized by its rich content, available in five languages (Arabic, Amazigh, French, English and Spanish). With more than 40,000 documents and articles regularly updated, the Portal of the Ministry offers its users a diversified content and adapted to each of its targets (citizens, media, academics, institutional investors, parliamentarians, donors ...).

Among its flagship sections are those relating to the "Finance Act", "The Ministry's activities", "Studies" and "Economic and financial statistics".

This portal is widely consulted both nationally and internationally (168 countries) with more than 2.5 million visits and 5.4 million pages visited per year.

In the category "e-démarche", the prize of encouragement, rewards the efforts made by the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes within the framework of platform "Diw@nati".

This platform allows its customers-users to get information on their customs situation and to accomplish and follow their customs procedures remotely.

It is also a platform for assistance and advice for client-users who wish to consult customs’ services at a distance

As a reminder, the E-mtiaz prize is organized annually to encourage efforts and successful initiatives in the field of e-Government in 4 categories, namely "Mobile Applications", "e-Contenu", "e-Démarche" and "e-Community Participation".
