Given the considerable development of its information systems and the need to guarantee continuity of services and improve the quality of services provided to its various partners and users, the Ministry of Economy and Finance was one of the first administrations to set up a cutting-edge Datacenter to host its own IT infrastructure.
In this context, this Datacenter has been designed according to the most demanding international standards with an architecture that ensures high availability of the Ministry's IT infrastructure.
Thus, in view of the security and availability issues, in 2021 the Department launched the "Tier III" certification process with the prestigious "Uptime Institute" to ensure the perfect resilience of its technical facilities. This process was crowned by the award of the "Tier III Design" certification at the end of 2021.
As a reminder, Uptime Institute is the international benchmark for Datacenters certification. Its standards have been used in the design, construction and operation of thousands of Datacenters worldwide. Uptime Institute's Tier standard is the globally recognized standard for overall Datacenters reliability and performance with more than 2,500 Tier certifications issued in over 110 countries.
