Opening of the 52nd Session of the Conference of Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of ECA

Morocco is hosting the 52nd session of the Conference of Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa on March 20-26, 2019 in Marrakech.
This conference, organized under the theme " Fiscal policy, trade and the private sector in the digital era – a strategy for Africa ", provides a good opportunity for African ministers to discuss the fiscal policies needed to implement the African Continental Free Trade Area in the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 2063 Agenda, as well as the crucial role of the private sector in the era of the digital economy.
